Hitting Ohio’s Donut Trail in your Jeep Wagoneer S: How Many Can You Visit on One Charge?

There’s something undeniably joyful about donuts and road trips especially when you combine them with the all-electric power of the Jeep Wagoneer S. If you haven’t heard, Ohio’s Butler County Donut Trail is a sugary pilgrimage that spans over a dozen mom-and-pop donut shops across charming small towns. But if you’re driving an EV like the Wagoneer S, a practical question arises:
How many of these sweet spots can you hit on a single charge?
The Wagoneer S – A Quick Look at the Range
The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S is Jeep’s first all-electric luxury SUV. It boasts an estimated 300+ miles of range on a full charge, thanks to its 100-kWh battery and efficient design. With serious torque (600+ lb.-ft) and a sleek, comfortable interior, it’s built for both performance and long-haul comfort, making it an ideal road-trip companion.
What’s the Donut Trail?
Butler County’s Donut Trail features 13 independently owned donut shops, each with its own character, recipes, and signature flavors. Participants who visit each shop and collect stamps can redeem their completed passport for a T-shirt and serious bragging rights.

Can the Wagoneer S Handle It in One Go?
Short answer: Absolutely.
With a 300-mile range, you can complete the full Donut Trail and have the range left over for exploring, detouring, or heading back to your hotel or charging station.
Estimated Driving Breakdown:
- Trail Distance (visiting all 13 shops): ~85–90 miles
- Extra Driving (to/from hotels, scenic stops, etc.): ~50–60 miles
- Total Estimated Distance: ~140–150 miles
That leaves 150+ miles of range to spare, depending on your driving style and A/C usage. No need for range anxiety here.
Tips for a Sweet & Smooth Ride
- Start early: Most donut shops open by 6–7 AM and start selling out by mid-morning.
- Use regenerative braking: Maximize your range while cruising between towns.
- Plot your route in advance: Group the nearby shops (like in Hamilton and West Chester) to save time.
- Bring a cooler: Some donuts are worth taking home but only if they survive the ride.
- Use PlugShare or the Jeep app: Just in case you want to top off the battery while enjoying coffee.
Final Thought: EV Meets Glazed Goodness
The Donut Trail isn’t just a gimmick, it’s a celebration of small-town charm, culinary creativity, and Americana. Doing it in a Jeep Wagoneer S makes it all the more rewarding. Quiet, capable, and with no gas station stops, it’s the perfect way to cruise through carbs and the countryside in style.
So, grab your keys, your passport, and your appetite. The Donut Trail is calling, and your electric Jeep is more than ready.

At Mark Williams Auto Group, we believe that kindness has the power to change lives. Our Kindness Project 2024 is a testament to that belief, as it brought together local businesses, organizations, and individuals for a common cause. In partnership with EmPath For Autism, we launched a hurricane relief initiative to support those severely impacted by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina. The overwhelming generosity we received from the community is something we’ll always remember.
Answering the Call: Collecting Essential Relief Items for North Carolina
Our mission was clear: collect vital disaster relief supplies to help the residents of Hendersonville, NC, who were hit hard by the Hurricane Helene. With communities left in dire need of food, water, personal hygiene products, and clothing, we knew it was important to take immediate action.
The Kindness Project 2024 initiative encouraged people to drop off donations at our showroom, and the response was incredible. One of the highlights of this drive was the remarkable contribution from the Tri-State Mustang/Ford Club of Greater Cincinnati, who generously donated over $1,000 worth of much-needed goods. Their support made a significant impact on our relief efforts, and we are deeply grateful for their involvement.
A Show of Support: Financial Contributions and Donations
While physical items were critical, we also offered the opportunity for financial donations. This allowed those who were unable to drop off supplies to still contribute in a meaningful way. These funds were directed to the Hendersonville, NC Government’s Hurricane Helene Relief Fund, helping families who were struggling to get back on their feet.
The community’s response was truly heartwarming. Volunteers stepped up to assist with sorting, packing, and loading all the donations onto a truck that would make the journey to North Carolina. It was inspiring to see so many people come together to help their neighbors in need.
Delivering Hope: Bringing Relief to North Carolina
Once the truck was loaded, we set off for Hendersonville, where the donations were distributed to the hurricane-affected families. It was a powerful moment, witnessing how these supplies provided hope to those who had lost so much. It reaffirmed the importance of coming together to make a tangible difference.
A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Supporters

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part in the success of Kindness Project 2024. From the generous support of EmPath For Autism to the unwavering commitment of the Tri-State Mustang/Ford Club of Greater Cincinnati, this project could not have come to life without you. To all who donated, volunteered, and spread the word, thank you for showing the true power of community and kindness.
This project may have concluded, but the mission of helping those in need will always continue. At Mark Williams Auto Group, we’re proud to be part of a community that truly cares, and we look forward to working together on future initiatives that make the world a better place.
Thank you for your incredible support.

2024 Toys for Tots Toy Drive at Mt Orab CDJR

The holiday season is all about spreading joy and giving back, and this year, we’re thrilled to share the success of our Toys for Tots toy drive at Mt. Orab CDJR. The spirit of giving was truly alive at our dealership, and we’re so proud to be a part of this incredible cause.
The Mission of Toys for Tots
Since 1947, Toys for Tots has been brightening the holidays for children across the country. Founded by Marine Corps Reserve Major Bill Hendricks, the program started with the simple goal of delivering toys to less fortunate children to inspire hope and joy. Over the years, it has grown into one of the most trusted and impactful charitable organizations in the United States, collecting and distributing millions of toys annually.
We’re proud to play a part in this legacy, helping to collect toys for kids in our community who might otherwise go without. Seeing the impact of these donations is one of the most rewarding parts of the year.
Mt. Orab CDJR
At Mt. Orab CDJR, the holiday spirit filled every corner of the dealership. We decorated our showroom with festive cheer, and it wasn’t long before friends, employees, and community members began stopping by with their toy donations. Friends, employees, and members of our community came in all month long with displays of generosity, and we could not be happier with the amount of toys received. From stuffed animals to puzzles, the generosity shown by everyone who contributed was truly heartwarming. Thank you for helping us make the holidays brighter for children in need.
Why It Matters
Every toy collected goes directly to a child in need, spreading the magic of the holidays and showing them that their community cares. Over the years, thanks to your generosity, we’ve been able to contribute thousands of toys. This year’s success is a testament to the compassion and kindness of our customers and staff.
Thank You for Making It Possible
We’re so proud of the role Mt. Orab CDJR plays in supporting Toys for Tots, but none of it would be possible without the incredible generosity of our customers and community. Thank you for helping us make the holidays brighter for children in need. Together, we’ve made a difference, and we can’t wait to continue this tradition in the years to come.

At Mt. Orab CDJR, we recognize that our success is closely linked to the strength of our community. That’s why we’ve made it a priority to give back to the places where we live and work. Our KindnessProject is a testament to this commitment, bringing together our team, customers, and local organizations to make a positive impact.
As we continue the KindnessProject, we’re proud to once again sponsor the EmPath For Autism foundation for a second consecutive year. This year’s event, Circus Bizircus Lunar: A Party Beyond, is set to elevate the excitement of last year’s “Circus Bizurcus” to new heights.
The EmPath Autism Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on supporting families in the Greater Cincinnati area who are affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Earlier this year, we joined forces with ABC Pediatric Therapy for a Sensory Toy Drive, which was met with incredible enthusiasm. All three Mt. Orab CDJR locations collected numerous carloads of sensory toys to benefit children with Autism Spectrum Disorder across the Greater Cincinnati area.
ABC Pediatric also produces a wide range of educational content related to autism. One of their standout posts, “Diagnosis and Early Intervention in Autism,” is definitely worth a read. You can find more of their insightful articles on their blog here.
Last year, EmPath’s fundraising event was a major success, raising $67,000 for The Kelly O’Leary Center for Autism at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. The proceeds are being used to fund Project Echo, an initiative that aims to extend autism diagnosis and treatment to rural communities surrounding Cincinnati. These areas often lack adequate services, making it difficult for families to access the care they need. Project Echo’s goal is to bridge that gap, ensuring that children with Autism Spectrum Disorder receive the support they need to thrive. With the right resources, ASD can become a unique strength, greatly enhancing the lives of these children and their families.
Circus Bizircus Lunar is poised to surpass last year’s success, and we’re fully committed to making it happen. We hope you’ll join us at the Madison Theater on September 21, 2024, for an unforgettable night. For tickets or more information, CLICK HERE.
Sensory Toy Drive

The team at Mt. Orab CDJR is thrilled to return for another chapter of The Kindness Project! Initiated by Mark Williams Auto Group and the Williams family in 2018, The Kindness Project has previously involved buying groceries for people, organizing toy drives, donating supplies to flood victims, and much more. Our goal with this initiative is to use our platform to support local families in need.
This chapter of The Kindness Project featured a Sensory Toy Drive! The aim of our Sensory Toy Drive was to gather toys for children with Autism who are in need. You might wonder, what exactly are sensory toys? Sensory toys are designed with therapeutic benefits in mind. They stimulate a child’s senses of sight, hearing, and touch, providing valuable feedback to their sensory system. These toys can be highly therapeutic for a child with Autism!

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: We partnered with the EmPath for Autism Foundation and ABC Pediatric Therapy to collect and distribute these toys to local families in need! EmPath is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization established by the Williams family as a resource for children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Mark Williams Auto Group will sponsor their annual fundraiser, a spectacular event called Circus Bizircus Lunar, held in Covington, KY, on September 21st. The proceeds from Circus Bizircus will be donated to the Kelly O’Leary Center For Autism Spectrum Disorders at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
ABC Pediatric Therapy was the crucial link that ensured all of our collected toys reached deserving homes! ABC is an outstanding therapy center for children located in Cincinnati (Western Hills). They offer high-quality pediatric physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy in a child-friendly environment. Their mission is to “create the best life for all children.” Everyone at Mark Williams Auto Group is proud to collaborate with these fantastic organizations. For more information on their services, ABC also maintains an excellent blog covering a wide range of child development topics!
If you’re curious about how we promoted our Sensory Toy Drive, check out this video! Chloe Williams and Charlie Watson discuss the details of sensory toys and showcase a few excellent examples. They also talk about the awareness surrounding Autism that has inspired major retailers to dedicate parts of their businesses to ensuring sensory toys are accessible to everyone! If you’re interested in buying sensory toys, great options are available at Wal-Mart, Target, and even on Amazon!
Our Sensory Toy Drive lasted for two weeks, with collection points at all Mark Williams Auto Group locations. Once the drive concluded, the Williams family delivered all the toys to ABC Pediatric Therapy for distribution. We are honored to say that, with the help of staff, customers, friends, and family, we were able to donate an entire SUV load of toys to children in our community!
