Mt. Orab CDJR and McNicholas High School Team Up for Another Successful Rocket Raffle

The Rocket Raffle 2025 was a huge success, bringing the community together to support McNicholas High School students. With the grand prize drawing taking place on February 8, 2025, during halftime of the boys’ varsity basketball game, excitement filled the air as one lucky winner drove away in a brand-new 2025 Jeep Wrangler.

Making a Difference at McNicholas

Since 1951, McNicholas High School has provided a coeducational, Catholic education focused on academic excellence, service, and leadership. This annual fundraiser helps ensure more students have access to that experience, easing the financial burden on families who want their children to be part of the McNick tradition.

Smashing Fundraising Goals

Thanks to incredible community support, this year’s raffle raised an impressive $259,725, far exceeding the original goal of $197,700.

Top Fundraising Classes & Students

McNicholas students put in the work selling tickets, and some classes went above and beyond:

• 10th grade led the charge with $73,550 raised
• 9th grade followed with $55,000
• 12th grade contributed $52,600

And the Winner Is…

After weeks of anticipation, the big moment finally arrived—the grand prize drawing. The lucky ticket holder won a brand-new 2025 Jeep Wrangler, making for an unforgettable night.
