Burgers are possibly the best food ever invented (at least we think so), but if you’re tired of the same-old, same-old chain burgers, you have to try some of the best burgers available in Mt. Orab, OH. We have some recommendations for places you need to try.
Butterbee’s American Grille
This is a great place with patio seating, plenty of TVs so you never miss a game, and some of the best pub fare you’ll find. This is a fun place to stop with friends or family. They have sandwiches, soup, great desserts, and a kids’ menu your little ones will appreciate, but the burgers are arguably the best thing here. Every one comes with waffle fries, coleslaw, or Saratoga chips. You can make them veggie burgers for no upcharge.
The original comes with lettuce, tomato, and sliced onion, and it’s the standard against which all other burgers should be measured. We love their Pigskin Bacon Burger, though, with jack and cheddar, onion, bacon, and homemade BBQ sauce. The Black and Bleu Burger is also amazing, with Cajun spices and bleu cheese crumbles. When you’re done, try their carrot cake. It’s a delicious classic.
Gold Star Chili
Gold Star is a local favorite and is open from 11 AM until 8 PM every day of the week where you can order pickup or eat there with loved ones. They have friendly service and great food served up quickly. Their salads and milkshakes are great, their chili gives Skyline’s a run for their money, and the cheese coneys are amazing, but it’s the hamburgers we’re really interested in.
You’ll love the classic burger, which is two patties, lettuce, tomato, and all the fixin’s. The cheeseburger and bacon cheeseburger are also great, but if you want a real treat, get the chili burger. All their burgers are topped with a special seasoning that’s a house secret, and served with crinkle fries.
Lake Manor Restaurant
Ready for a date night or a special time of celebration? Head down to Lake Manor Restaurant and order one of their amazing sandwiches, the boneless pork chops, or the liver and onions. They also have great seafood and fried pickle chips: but the burgers here are the best. They’re open from 11 AM until 8 PM every day.
We especially love the bacon cheddar burger, which is a quarter-pound burger with cheese, fixin’s, tartar sauce, pickle and onion, and the best crispy bacon. Their mushroom swiss burger is also great and comes with Swiss cheese. Their veggie burger won’t disappoint the vegetarian in your life as it isn’t just veggie. It’s also gluten-free and soy-free. You can make any burger a double for an extra three dollars. All their burgers can be made platters by adding a great side, like their mashed potatoes, white cheddar mac and cheese, sweet potato fries, and more.
